Originally formed in 1985 as a partnership by Steve & Lynn Caunce, we have traded as a Limited Company since 1999.

Steve Caunce Limited are Industrial & Environmental Drainage Specialists.  Our philosophy and success we feel is attributed to our good workmanship and personal customer care.

Our Management ethos of close customer liaison to ensure all needs and individual requirements are met from the onset on instruction.  This is achieved by regular direct contact from the Director, down through our Management team, our Service Desk and General Administration.

Our sensible pricing structure, which our Management are able to discuss and tailor to individual customer work instructions, albeit for a one hour job, a long term planning project, or a regular service agreement.

With 30 years experience our Director and Managers have the knowledge to offer advice and consultancy along with guidance on existing and new drainage laws.  From advice give over the phone electronic mail or a pre-arranged no charge site visit.  We pride ourselves on this personal customer contact, which has worked successfully over the years, as we move towards our “Silver Anniversary” in 2010.

We are contactable 24 hours a day – 7 days a week -365 days a year – with No Call Out Charge. With the capability to travel anywhere in the UK, with 24 hour response for Carlisle to Cannock and 48 hour response remainder of UK. Currently Approved Contractor to blue-chip Managing Agents, and Property Management Companies, Police, as well as Housing Associations and Local Councils.

Our present fleet of jetting machines are capable of pressures up to 7000PSI, to clean drains from 100mm to 225mm, with the majority of machines housed in Van Packs for ease of access in Car Parks, and street parking.  Our fleet has 2 Tanker jetters for which no job is too big, and 2 vacuum tankers able to empty pump and manhole chambers, grease traps, septic tanks and interceptors, all under our Waste Carriers Licence and Duty of Care Certificates.

All operatives are CRB checked on employment plus vetting from individual Police Authorities, such checks provide clients with the confidence in our staff in any working circumstance and location.

All our procedures are fully risk assessed and method statements, form our Safe System of Work.

We maintain a full training schedule to ensure, all on site operatives are trained in all aspects of Health & Safety by our Health & Safety Consultants.  With external training for specialist procedures specific to our trade, to include Confined Space, CSCS, Cable Avoidance, Mobile Platform, New Road & Streetworks, First Aid, and Fire Warden.
